Three people are believed to have died after three vehicles were involved in an accident on the morning of Tuesday July 7 along the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway.
Two trucks are said to have collided at an intersection near Maanzoni Lodge knocking a Toyota Probox off the road.
The truck drivers lost their lives on the spot along with one turn-boy with the probox driver sustaining serious injuries.
The Maanzoni area is considered a black spot over many accidents that have claimed lives of motorists.
According to NTSA, as of April 13, the number of passengers who have lost their lives on the road has gone down compared to the same period in 2019.
In the latest crash survey by the authority, 156 passengers had died by April 13 compared to 205 who succumbed by the same period in 2019.
