President Uhuru Kenyatta cracks journalists with “wacha ujeuri” remark after Jubilee PG.

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Monday June 22 cracked up journalists at the steps of KICC, minutes after the conclusion of a Jubilee coalition National Assembly PG hosted at the venue.

A video in the hands of niaje.co.ke shows President Kenyatta emerging from the venue engaged in a chit-chat with his deputy William Ruto, before he stops for a photo shoot and then dashes for his car as journalist try to engage him on details of the PG that led to the removal of Aden Duale from office of the National Assembly Majority Leader.

The President holding the door of his official Limo casually greeted the journalists, and proceeded to say that more plans would be revealed in days to come.

“We want people to live in peace and unity. We shall soon reveal our plans,” President kenyatta stated.

While asked to give a sneak peak of the plans the president responded, “wewe wacha ujeuri” loosely translated to mean “stop being cunning” amid laughter.

The meeting was attended by among others the Deputy President William Ruto, Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju and over 150 Members of Parliament from the Jubilee Coalition.

During the meeting that lasted less than an hour, Garissa Town MP Aden Duale was replaced by Amos Kimunya as the National Assembly Majority Leader, with Eldas MP Adan Keynan appointed Secretary to the Jubilee joint parliamentary group for both Senate and National Assembly.
