Deputy president William Ruto has comforted his close ally former National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale after being axed from the position earlier Monday June 22.
In his tweet, Deputy President William Ruto referring to Duale as his brother, commended him for a job well done stating that Duale dishrged his responsibilities with style and passion
“My brother Aden Duale, you are a great leader. For the last 8yrs, you discharged your responsibilities as our party’s 1st majority leader with style, precision, passion and loyalty”, part of DP Ruto’s tweet read.
DP Ruto also stated that Duale will go down the parliamentary history books assuring him “Mbele iko sawa na Mungu” loosely translated that things are better ahead with God.
“My friend, when parliamentary history is written you will have a chapter. Mbele iko sawa na Mungu”, the tweet concluded.

Earlier Duale had penned an emotional statement saying he was proud of his achievements for the period he served as majority leader and thanking president Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto for according him the chance to serve Kenyans.
“I indeed thank my party leader H.E Uhuru Kenyatta, for having given me the opportunity to serve the great people of Kenya and for this I am grateful. I equally thank the Deputy President, the entire jubilee members of parliament and my family for their support during this period”, Duale said in the statement.
Duale was on Monday June 22, removed as the Majority leader and his role handed over to Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya after Jubilee coalition Members of the National Assembly signed a petition to have him removed.
