Health CAS Rashid Aman has confirmed that 213 people have tested positive for the Coronavirus disease within the last 24 hours. 106 patients have been discharged from hospital within the same time. So far, 1,459 people have recovered from the disease in the country.
CAS Aman has also sent condolences to the families and friends of 10 patients who have succumbed to the disease, noting that this is the highest number of fatalities recorded on a single day. In total, 117 people have died from the Coronavirus disease.

So far, the total number of cases have exceeded the 4,000 mark with men accounting for majority of cases. CAS Aman has asked employers to ensure that their staff and all visitors coming into their work premises adhere to the containment measures. All Kenyans are asked to be vigilant.
