Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai has on Thursday visited police officers injured in a Garissa attack. Mutyambai, who was accompanied by the Deputy Inspector General Noor Gaboow, stated that the Police Service cared for all its officers and would strive to ensure any officer injured while on duty received medical attention. The officers were injured in an attack waged by suspected Al Shabaab militants at Yumbis Police Station on 22nd July 2020. The officers are currently receiving treatment at the Nairobi West Hospital.
