Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and Suna East MP Junet Mohammed have left the country on Thursday July 9 to Dubai, to visit ailing Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
The two leaders have shared pictures on social media moments before boarding a private jet and soon inside the private jet, captioning them that they are off to Dubai to see Former PM Raila Odinga.
A week ago Raila Odinga through Winnie Odinga had a shared a video to express gratitude to Kenyans for their messages of good will, and to affirm that he had recuperated well.
“I want to thank all my friends, my supporters and all the youths who have sent me so many messages of good will. It has been amazing and wonderful, it made me recover so fast and that’s why I am up and about right now”, Raila stated in the video.
Raila underwent surgery to treat a nerve disorder that had affected one of his legs in Dubai after leaving the country in June
The Odinga’s family spokesman Dr Oburu Oginga had on Wednesday, June 24, revealed that Raila had undergone for a “minor back surgery”, a statement that was reiterated by his wife, Ida Odinga.
