Former PM Raila opens up about Dubai surgery.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has opened up about his recent medical trip to Dubai where he underwent a minor surgery to correct a back issue. Speaking to the Daily Nation on an exclusive interview, the ODM leader said that he experienced pain around his waist going round his legs all the way to his feet which prompted him to seek medical attention.

”The doctors told me it was a Spinal Canal Stenosis…I was having a bit of pain around my waist going around my legs all the way to my foot”.

Mr. Odinga also said that he was rejuvenated, having taken some time off politics, ”I feel renewed. I am like a vehicle that has gone on an overhaul, he indicated.

The ODM leader also refused to comment on 2022 politics, saying that his agreement with President Uhuru Kenyatta was not about 2022 but was coming up with reforms that would make it possible for the country to transition. However, his comments come at a time when the Jubilee Vice Chair David Murathe revealed that a Raila presidency was in the offing. Speaking on Saturday evening on an exclusive interview with KTN, Murathe said that it was time Kenyans rewarded Raila
