Eliud Owalo exits Mudavadi’s ANC.

Former Kibra MP aspirant Eliud Owalo has announced his resignation from the Amani National Congress. In a statement released on Friday, Owalo indicated that he had resigned to ‘create ample space within the Party and around the Party leader to enable the ANC strategically position itself effectively in the operational environment and craft a suitable roadmap moving forward without feeling suffocated by my views and suggestions.’

Owalo said he had one everything in his capacity to enhance the support base of ANC and also endear its party leader Musalia Mudavadi to the public as a viable and feasible venture. His resignation comes just a day after Barrack Muluka resigned as the Party’s secretary general.

”I doubt that I could add any more value to what I have done so far. Moreover, it is now fitting that the space around you is decongested. This will allow you to make critical decisions on the population and leadership of the party under the new Constitution.”
