Former Presidential Candidate Ekuru Aukot kicked out of his own party.

Dr Ekuru Aukot has on Wednesday August 26 been suspended indefinitely as the Thirdway Alliance Party Leader following a resolution by the Party’s National Executive Committee- NEC.

According to a statement by the Thirdway Alliance Party, the decision to suspend the former Presidential candidate was arrived at following numerous complaints from party members among them assault of the Deputy Party Leader Dr. Angela Mwikali using “crude words”.

Aukot is further accused of Financial impropriety, self-enrichment with his paternity case that is pending in court also being listed as one of the reasons for his dismissal.

“…Defying a court order in the Children Case No. 1591 of 2019, thus violating Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010”, part of the statement read.

Aukot has now been directed to appear before the party disciplinary committee on a date that will be announced later.

According to the Thirdway Alliance Website, Aukot is the founder of the party that was his vehicle during the 2017 presidential polls.
