Covid-19 cases continue to soar in the country, with the Ministry of Health Saturday June 20 announcing an additional 104 cases that have been reported in the last 24 hours, out of the 2820 samples tested within that period.
This now raises the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases to 4,478.
Over the same period 36 patients were discharged from various facilities having recovered fully from the disease, raising the total number of recoveries to 1586.
Two patients unfortunately succumbed to the disease as reported by the Health Ministry, raising the total fatalities to 121.
Nairobi County leads with 60 cases of the reported 104, Mombasa 33, Kilifi 5, Busia 3, Kajiado 2 and Taita Taveta 1.
