The Ministry of Health has on Wednesday reported an additional 461 new Covid-19 cases bringing the total tally of the confirmed Covid-19 cases in the country to 11,252.
Speaking during the daily Ministry of Health Covid-19 status briefing, Health CAS Rashid Aman stated that 51 more people have been discharged from various facilities after recovery, bringing g the total number of recoveries to 3,068.
Unfortunately 7 more people succumbed to the disease, raising the total number of fatalities to 209 in the country.

Aman has also stated that we will witness a spike in infections as the virus penetrates public places and offices.
“At this time, the coronavirus will find itself in many places, public and high offices are not an exception. It is not a matter of surprise it is at the ICT ministry… We will continue to see the spread but we will move in quickly to contain it”, Aman stated.
He also thanked the health workers for the sacrifices they are making to ensure Kenyans are safe saying that the government has placed extreme importance to their wellbeing.
According to sources, since the lifting of the cessation of movement orders by President Uhuru Kenyatta, close to 50 deaths have been reported translating top around 5 deaths each day.
