The Ministry of Health has reported 492 more Covid-19 cases from a sample of 4,603, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 26,928. Out of the 492 cases, 331 are male while 161 are female.
Speaking during the daily briefing on Coronavirus, CS Mutahi Kagwe also said that a further 534 patients had been discharged after full recovery. 478 of those who recovered had been placed under home-based care while 56 had been admitted at various hospitals. Total cumulative discharge of patients now stands at 13,495.
However, 3 patients have succumbed to the disease, bringing the total number of fatalities to 423.
