The Ministry of Health has confirmed that there are 309 more cases in the country, bringing the total number of cases to 7,886.
This is from a sample of 4,228 people who were tested in the last 24 hours. Speaking to members of the fourth estate, Health CAS Dr. Aman explained that out of the 309 cases, 217 are male while 92 female with the youngest being one year old and the oldest being 83 years old.
51 patients have been discharged bringing to 2,287 recoveries. One more patient has succumbed to the disease, bringing the total number of deaths to 160.
