Kenya has Tuesday June 30 reported an additional 176 new Covid-19 cases bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 6,366.
According to Health CAS Rashid Aman during the daily Ministry of Health Covid-19 update, 26 more patients have been discharged from various facilities after recovering, raising the number of recoveries to 2,039.
Unfortunately 4 more people succumbed to the disease, raising the total number of fatalities to 148.
Nairobi continues to lead in reported new cases with 99 of the 176 cases traced back to Nairobi County.
The cases are distributed in the counties as follows; Nairobi 99, Mombasa 20, Kiambu 17, Migoiri 13, Uasin Gishu 10, Kajiado 4, Busia 4, Kilifi 3, Makueni 2, Machakos, Narok, Kisumu, and Kakamega have one case each. #KomeshaCorona pic.twitter.com/44s1Ka8ZMn
